Box of (Beat up) Blasters

So about a week ago, my friend texted me and asked if I wanted all his old guns (he doesn’t use them anymore). I hesitantly accepted, and went on with my daily routines.
After a day or two, I forget about the arrangement. I woke up this morning to the doorbell. I opened the door, my friend handed me a huge box, told me he had to go, and walked away. Because I just woke up and do not remember our previous conversation, I cautiously opened the box.
Inside were a bunch of blasters, all of which were jammed, dirty, rusted, and hardly functional. The sight of these made me happy that my friend had used them alot; but also made me sad when I realized I would be opening and modifying them (after cleaning them out with antibacterial wipes). But hey, I got two hail fires, a tek 10, a longshot, a hyperfire, a tech target eliminator, and a bunch of 6 mags. So I am happy… And busy.
TL;DR: I got bored and want to win a sling, so I made a simple story sound super long and complicated.
