Clownie Nerf’s Holiday Toy Drive (Win a Perses!)

My schedule is quickly stacking up, so I thought I’d highlight a fun, annual event from one of the statesmen of the classic NIC.

As per usual, Clownie Nerf is doing a toy drive, and the rules are easy.

  1. Don’t have to be subscribed to the Youtube channel, etc.
  2. Donate an unwrapped NEW IN BOX toy to a charity (not a thrift store). Each toy is an entry to win.
  3. Post a picture of you doing so on the Facebook Page/link (https://www.facebook.com/ClownieNerf/). Or, send it to his Instagram, or ClownieNerf@hotmail.com.
  4. Contest is open world wide.

There are two Perses up for grabs, if you really need the incentive! See the video below.

Holiday Giveaway, Week 3!

It’s Week 3 of our holiday giveaways! And we’re going a bit larger, thanks to a sale at Target early in November!

As always, here are the rules:

  1. Please be a United States resident old enough to actually use Facebook as per their terms of service.
  2. Just leave a post on the corresponding Facebook Contest post!
  3. Two winners will be chosen at random from all comments made before 11:59pm EST on Thursday, December 5th. Winners will be promptly announced.
  4. I will message the winners for their contact information, put the blasters in the mail, and provide the tracking numbers.

This week, we have two Dart Zone Destructors! They’re stupid fun to use, with high rates of fire and dart velocity. My personal one has a printed cage and Daybreak wheels…which make it shoot to hard for HvZ, but make for fun times elsewhere.

Buzz Bee Air Warriors Mutator Review

The Mutator is a blaster that held out on US entry for over a year; it was first seen at Toy Fair 2018, but started with sales in Europe. After promising sales numbers, though, it was able to make it to Target stores in the US this year. Now, it’s going to be marked down 50% for Black Friday, so what better time for a review?

The Mutator is a unique blaster, with its dual magazines and simply massive size. It’s a fun concept that, while not perfect, is plenty of fun for the right price.

A Few Updates on Future News!

A short blurb today, but with several fun developments that will be more important in the near future:

  • The credentials are approved, and there will be a person from Blasterhub at New York Toy Fair 2020! It admittedly felt a little weird applying as the site owner this time around. I’ll have to get on the whole concept of “official stationary” and relearn the back end of doing a website soon, while I’m at it.
  • Nerf Challenge is opening on Dec. 7th out in Los Angeles! I had a press invitation for beforehand, but the middle of the week usually conflicts with a thing called a job. There is, however, nothing that says I can’t just buy some cheap tickets and evaluate it as a customer on opening day…
  • We are slowly adding people on here, I promise!

Blasterhub Holiday Giveaway – Week 2!

It’s Week 2 of our holiday giveaways! I moved this up a day compared to last week, due to the simple fact that Thanksgiving is here. So it’s easier to just get things taken care of prior to everyone (including myself) being busy with food and shopping.

Here are the revised rules, after last week. The Blow Blasters got shipped, but a few things need clarified in order to make life easier on myself. As per last week, just leave a comment on the Facebook Contest post!

  1. Please be a United States resident old enough to actually use Facebook as per their terms of service.
  2. Two winners will be chosen at random from all comments made before 11:59pm EST on Wednesday, Nov 27th. Winners will be promptly announced.
  3. I will message the winners for their contact information, put the blasters in the mail, and provide the tracking numbers.

This week, we have two Nerf Rival Knockouts! Yes, they’re Rival Jolts. but they’re stupid fun, and if you’re feeling adventurous, can be modded into absolute monsters when it comes to shooting half darts.

Adventure Force Arsenal Blaster Pack Review

Buzz Bee Toys takes up a decently large chunk of shelf space at Walmart, thanks to the Adventure Force line. Among their entries this year is a double pack, featuring two blasters and multiple accessories, including magazines that clip together. It’s another item that’s clearly sized for younger kids – but it has the performance you’d expect from modern Buzz Bee blasters. It’s the Arsenal Blaster Pack, and it’s worth a look if you’re trying to arm multiple children.

Blasterhub Holiday Giveaway – Week 1!

The holidays are here, and we’re going to celebrate with a few weeks of blaster giveaways! They’re all 2019 releases, and they’re all good blasters. However, they’re also some of the blasters I’ve had the most fun with this past year – whether it’s Nerf wars, HvZ games, or other odd reasons. In any case, they’re free! Just head over to the Facebook post and leave a comment. Liking and following the page is nice, of course, but a comment is all you need.

  1. Please be old enough to actually use Facebook as per their terms of service.
  2. Two winners will be chosen at random from all comments made before 11:59pm EST on the first Thursday after the Facebook post goes live. Winners will be promptly announced.
  3. I will message the winners for their contact information, put the blasters in the mail, and provide the tracking numbers.

This week, we have two Buzz Bee Blow Blasters! Have fun with them if you win them!
